Session/Lesson Structure
Lessons are structured in two ways:
Every music therapy session or music lesson will present a variety of activities to shape the session/lesson and adapt the individual's learning styles. An assessment will be conducted prior to any music therapy sessions. A variety of resources and instruments will be used in the music creation and as the music making continues there will be collaborative compositions and performance presented. The learning style will be individually directed most importantly it should be fun and enjoyable. |
Individual |
Individual sessions/lessons are 45 minutes or 1 hour depending on the need. Within an individual session/lesson there are a variety of activities which includes singing, instrumental playing, music theory, games and activities. With every individual session/lesson an optional ensemble session is encouraged for musical, social and personal development.

Ensemble Group
|
Ensemble group session/lesson can be taken as an addition of the individual session/lesson or by itself to give the individual a collective music creating experience. Within an ensemble group session/lesson there are a variety of activities that can not be achieved in an individual session/lesson and the musicians work collaboratively on creating music as part of a group and will be sharing ideas and each individual input is encouraged.
